MICRONEEDLING
Microneedling for hair restoration is a minimally invasive procedure that uses very fine needles to create micro-wounds on the scalp. The whole process of creating micro-wounds on the scalp allows the assembly of growth proteins involved in regulating the hair cycle. It also enhances the absorption of topical treatments like Minoxidil.

PLATELET-RICH FIBRIN (PRF)
Plater-rich fibrin or PRF takes platelet concentrates like PRP to the next level. It’s composed of plasma, white blood cells, and mesenchymal cells harvested from the patient’s blood to stimulate the body’s natural healing mechanisms.
PRF is superior to PRP for two main reasons.
First, slow centrifugation is used to collect PRF. This results in close to 100% platelet recovery with 10x more platelet concentration than PRP. This allows for more healing factors and cells to be harvested to be used in the concentrate.
Second, PRF is 100% natural. It doesn’t contain any anticoagulants and additives like those present in PRP injections. This allows the fibrin scaffolding for a much slower and longer release of growth factors into the skin.
Compared to PRP which releases growth factors for only a few hours, PRF releases growth factors for a long period of time (about a week) allowing longer-lasting results.
